it all looked so fancy, pink tea with cherries, and sparkles, and beads
there were many colorful characters
a knight and his lady were reunited after many long days spent in kindergarten
at last, we shared a fairy bread feast and made a toast to our special magical day

Magical. 🙂 x

I worked at the local park district for 10 years teaching art, dance, acting, and anything else they’d let me teach. I loved those kids! My favorite thing was to be The Mascot du jour. I was my real self when I had a big moose head on! In case I haven’t told you, you can find my blog on my website http://lesliejochase.com/. I used to be at Tales of Wild Boomba. I have a folder full of funny stuff that happened when I was working with kids that will make its way onto the blog probably more toward this summer. You seem like a great, fun teacher. Those kids will always remember that.

Pinky-out day with magical cherry tea with the kinders. Great and magical pictures, Beth. The princess with her knight may have the best look, ever. The adult in the group shot sure is having a big time, too, isn’t she? I caught this one!

mark – it was a big time and you have a good eye, kind of like a ‘where’s waldo game’ ?) and even though there was no fairy godmother in town, and cinderella still had to wear her rags, they welcomed her in to the party.

Made me miss teaching kindergarten so much…so important to create some magic for students AND teacher! My magic was “raising” a Monarch butterfly each fall, then watching it fly off to points unknown. Thanks for the lovely pictures and post, Beth. 🙂

Yes the ‘adult’ was having fun too I see 😉 we never did this at my girls kinder, they finger painted, played on the equipment, slept, had stories read, had fruit time, puzzles…I don’t think Cinderella is poor and raggedy and I’m sure her kids adore her 🙂 x

Scrumptious post. That lil knight and lady fair–and the clever caption–is to die for. 🙂 And for some reason I didn’t recall that Peter Pan’ism–but what a brilliant and absolutely cool concept. I bet that IS where faeries come from.
