What a BEAUTIFUL picture! And I agree completely with shanti – that is exactly how I like to see my grandchildren… and myself, come to think about it, at the end of each day! 🙂
I was there for the first time last year! There was a spot where I impressed my love by working out that if a Saturn V rocket were sitting on the waterline, we’d be looking considerably down to where the crew would sit.
Wow! Beautiful day and loved this so much, Beth! You are definitely the best grandmother, “Peaches”, ever!! The fact that you share the photos is so wonderful, adds a whole other dimension to the precious quotes!
Any of your wonderful poems or photographs on Peace (like the peaceful and beautiful photo above) would be greatly appreciated for our collaborative blog (which includes you), Artists 4 Peace. We want to spread love, good will, and Peace through art. So, if you have time and would like to send something PLEASE do. We have several works on the blog so far and we just started. I’m asking friends/those I follow, if they would be willing to help us in this endeavor and contribute. Thank you.
I forgot to tell you, I have been to Sleeping Bear dunes! I have a hippie photo of my roommate, myself and my ex-husband, then boyfriend… It is in a flower power frame in my curio cabinet. I love the times we had up there!
I know your in there somewhere, behind that hair – smiles x
