baby j
checked out the competition
both showed up
on the green carpet
sporting the same
flashy fashion palette
who wore it best?
who dressed you?
mother nature.
who dressed you?
my momma.

Oh, to be a fashion twinsie to a peacock, for just one day. If only momma knew. Where does baby j go from here? Great catch, Beth. Awesome eye and power of presentation!

I am amazed at the peacock’s being so docile! It is so fun to imagine Baby J’s interest and wonder at this bird, so brightly colored!

Brave kid, to get that close to a peacock. They’re not very friendly creatures. Peacocks. Not kids.

Probably the part of the Internet that I dislike the most are the videos of children abusing animals. I saw one recently where the child was abusing a large lizard and adults were sitting there laughing. So sad.

i agree, russel. it’s up to the adults to teach them to treat them with respect and care –
