I recently moved from Florida (only one season, no leave color changes) — I moved to a state a bit farther north. The leaves are changing here and I love it. You don’t know what you’ll miss until you have it back, sometimes.
Like the quote. Our trees in Southern California are not changing colors yet. Too much sunshine. I wondered what kind of tree is in your photo. The bark is so dark, almost black.
That is incredible, Its hard to imagine that is a natural scene and not photo-shopped. Autumn really is the season of the amazing colours isn’t it ? Well, they all are , come to think of it, but you know what I mean
What an amazing photo Beth. I saw the tree and leaves, but the closer I look I see a figure twisting and left arm reaching to the sky..but that’s just me. x
Amazing color here, well captured!

We’re not having such a nice autumn in New Jersey. No color this year. Don’t know why that is. And New York City…pffft…forget it. No plants!
I lived in Phoenix for about 18 months. Hated it. No Octobers.

Me too! Glorious color. Life would be so dull without that last punch before the dullness of winter.
