bought this at the old bookshop
drawn to the cover
mom is swooning
new dad’s happy to have found mom
but looking worried
what?
she had four kids?!
where is the fourth one?
is it a baby?
what happened to the first dad?
the kids are going on the honeymoon?
what will happen?
how will they all blend together?
who will wear hats?
can’t wait to see.

Yeah..so if I’m one of those kids..I’m looking at this guy’s grumpy face and doing a quick count on how many days away from college I am…

Love Dr. Seuss and old movies. Don’t believe I’ve seen this one but get the gist. Not sure it it would work in today’s world. Took an extra special guy then, can’t imagine how special he’d have to be now. 😀 Food for thought.

There’s a lot of tension between the kids and the groom – I see no future for the marriage, the fourth kid must be preparing something to boycott the honeymoon! 😀 please, tell us more as you read!

Wow, did Dr. Seuss have it right! Glad you told me you found someone to share your “weird-ness” with. May we ALL find someone to really “get” us, Beth!! This reminds me of my old post, “With Six You Get Egg Roll” the Brian Keith/Doris Day comedy 🙂
