rest is not idleness, and to lie sometimes on the grass under the trees on a summer’s day,
listening to the murmur of water, or watching the clouds float across the blue sky,
is by no means waste of time.
~john lubbock, “Recreation,” The Use of Life, 1894
Very astute observation Beth – I hadn’t even given this any consideration.

I am with Beth on this one. I want to be in that picture, in that place. Looks lovely!!!!. Doing nothing is good for the soul and mind. Looking up at the sky, watching the leaves in the trees is very therapeutic.

Tomorrow is my first weekend in weeks with nothing on. I will test this out. I look forward to ‘doing’ nothing.
