Bwahaha! What an odd mix of police business, funny pictures and strange associations. Are the guys all piled in the cart the thieves trying to get away? And was the beverage cart loaded – with something more than returnable cans? And, by the way, who the heck gets the police involved in the theft of some returnable cans? Is that even relevant? That’s like reporting your car stolen and then making a big deal over the fact that your toque was in it – put out an APB on the returnable cans and my toque. OMG! I just realized that there are some returnable cans here in my apartment Beth. Do you suppose the thieves drove the cart through here and I didn’t notice. I should report this to the police….Bwahahaha!

pics are just from the public domain on googleimages, and as for the sheriffs, there must not be a lot on there plate at the moment, to issue a county alert for this, but it was an amusing way to start my day )

A good way to have a happy morning. Escape from golf course adventures. I love Woody Allen’s quote, too, Beth!

Great tale – and reminded me of my favourite gag in that Woody Allen film, with the soapbar handgun and the shoe polish, in the rain.

But the real question is are they more worried about the cart or the returnable cans?

One of the best parts about living in small towns – the news makes you howl with laughter – or maybe gratitude. Hope they find the kidnapped golf cart before it ends up in a chop shop for golf carts.

Beth … It’s great to know that the crime stoppers are on the job. When I was a police reporter, I loved reading the police blotters and hearing the officers’ stories about the dumb stunts that criminals pull. Always entertaining. 😉
