behold the bounty that is my late summer harvest!
even if it is all miniature
it’s the first time
i’ve ever grown a vegetable
in my entire life
and so
it’s all perfect and i’m perfectly happy.
fairy-sized or not.

do not let your grand ambitions stand in the way
of small but meaningful accomplishments.
I think most everyone’s first try at gardening produces miniature results – I know mine did. But brother did they taste good!!

Great job, Little Buddy! My tomatoes were a bit small this year, too, Beth. I bought an “EARTH BOX” years ago. They make them on the east coast and truly are GREAT! Once you fill them in with soil and fertilizer, all you do is water them. I love mine and the tomatoes are always great tasting!! 🙂

My granddaughter has a pink t-shirt with this quote on the front. (She is quite petite for her age, too.) And congratulations on your first harvest!
