come sit a spell
drop in
to our
friendly irish pub
everyone is welcome
bring what you like
your
fiddle guitar heart voice spoons steps drum
join our circle
stay a bit
teach
your spoons
and
your magic tunes
to a
future musician
pay it forward
and
the music
will never stop.

for the education of its virtue.

“Music is only love looking for words.” WOW! I love it. I’ve never heard the quote before but I love it. Perhaps it has special meaning to me as a songwriter. Great post, Beth! That Irish pub filled with music and laughter looks like a place I would very much enjoy.

We had lunch in the Bunratty Castle folk
village pub in Ireland once and were treated to a bunch of Welsh tourists singing Elvis:))). Thanks for the reminder – Time for some Irish folk music.

Yes, indeed. I used to go to Tommy Makem’s pub in NYC. He would get everyone singing the chorus. It always made me feel so alive and happy. Since then, they’ve proven that singing boosts your immune system and may even make you live longer. Fancy that!
