as the cousins
find ways to stretch their line
they hang on tight
to see just how far they can go
and still be connected.
even the one who resists
cannot escape their web.
—
“all things are connected like the blood that unites us.
we do not weave the web of life, we are merely a strand in it.
whatever we do to the web, we do to ourselves.”
– chief seattle
Connections are always very important – wonderful take here… 🙂

Ha! Great picture Beth. The little blonde girl in the upper left looks quite blissful. The lad in the center is concentrating hard. It is always easier to be at the edge than the center. ha! Fun writeup too.

I would venture that their true connection will greatly outlast any connection to the string. Great photo. I love kites. ❤

Beth, such a great vision of love you have. I admire one who resists the Web but still got “caught!” The Native American, by Chief Seattle, saying should be posted on walls. We are all part of the same tribe of humanity and should start realizing how to keep our connections friendly and not allow tearing apart. Wonderful, in so many happy and yet, serious ways.

Wonder what they would have thought if they had used soup cans to communicate via the string. 🙂
