mg took me out

for a big birthday night

relaxed fancy dinner

4 star restaurant

chocolate

concert

great company.

we looked up the dress code

before leaving home

and were so very pleasantly surprised.

Dress Code
We want all of our guests to feel comfortable.

Therefore, all guests must comply with our dress code.

Anyone found in violation will be required to leave.

• No see-through clothing
• No exposed private parts
• No offensive material or language
• No visible undergarments

we wondered what must have happened for them

to have felt the need put this code in place.

and it also

 really put a damper on my planned ensemble.

    I guess you’ll have to return those assless chaps, unless, of course, you haven’t already warn them, or plan to wear them for a different occasion. I’m glad you had a beautiful birthday evening despite the dress code. 🙀

  23. Happy Birthday Beth, I hope you take the month, in fact the year, to enjoy. I am. The whole month that is. I was October 30 🙂 haha! I so enjoyed that dress code. It must have been something for them to make such a to-do out of it. I hope you enjoyed your chocolate 😉

  27. A belated Penblwydd Hapus Beth. I imagine the restaurant must have suffered from ‘fashion’ to make them apply a dress code.We’ve all seen the fashion of the trousers almost at he knees defying gravity whilst an expanse of underclothes or builders bum is on display.Or maybe the lady who’s cleavage is so low a fashion accident is about to happen. Or maybe it’s where the crop top leaves an expanse of overweight flesh on display.
    Some sights are best kept for the bedroom.
