local english teacher and writer
has launched
a wonderful new business in my town called,
‘why not pie?’
it’s a virtual bakery
where she
creates homemade pies
each week
for pickup or delivery.
she’ll try most any flavor you request
using locally-sourced ingredients whenever possible.
this is really a win-win situation in my eyes
and i can’t wait to try one.
or more.

The one pictured is just too damned pretty to eat. I would feel guilty of destroying art and I really do try not to be a destroyer. Oh, well. Aloha – pjs/

That pic is the prettiest pie I’ve ever seen. Obviously baked by someone who LOVES what they do. Coincidentally, I just bought a small pie this afternoon, with ice cream to go on the side, of course.

Such a pretty pie in this picture. Some bakers and cooks are real food artists. 💕💙But not me. I tend to make less than artistic looking food. But my kids say it tastes good and they do not complain about whether or not it is lopsided…LOL

It looks so good. As many of the comments say, it would almost be a shame to eat such a lovely work of art. I’d have to take a photo to save it first….and then….I would eat a slice with some ice cream. Yum!
