kinders’ fairy castle

they all worked on it

‘for days’ = (2 hours)

used

cardboard

tape

paper

sparkles

markers

coffee cup trays

egg crates

ribbons

imaginations

creativity

problem solving skills

engineering

balance

music

tippy stools

teamwork

laughter

flags

noise

to

create a masterpiece.

now they go inside

with

 flashlight

and

books

and

magically

can read.

a great building must begin with the unmeasurable,

must go through measurable means when it is being designed

and in the end must be unmeasurable.

  1. It reminds me of playing dress up with bunches of old clothes, shoes, hats, purses etc. We could come up with amazing creations and have the most fun. Imagination!! I wonder if kids do that anymore or need all the fancy electronics and so forth.

  2. This fairy castle will withstand many days of reading inside with flashlights. What a fantastic project with the teamwork, science, math, art and reading incorporated into this. Dr. Seuss would be smiling to see such a creative effort, Beth! 🙂 ♡
