That book set off new ways of thinking for many, many people, it was a courageous book to put out in the world. Harper Lee was a gem.

It is one of my favorite bookstand movies too. That smile on Atticus’ face in the photo probably looked much like the one I wore when looking at it.

This is my all time favorite book….I’ve read it every year, at least once a year, since I was 12. Sometimes, I read it and when I get to the last page, I go right back to the beginning and read it again.

Unfortunately I never read it. But I loved the movie. Gregory Peck was amazing. It was such an eye opener about the times I grew up in or close to it.
