i was saddened by it

yet i was struck by an typo

not meant to be ironic

that perhaps unknowingly proved the point.

  1. Hahahahaha. That’s funny. Not just the writer missed it, the Editor did too. Double whammy. Maybe I should have ritten that the righter missed it.

  2. It’s sad, but at least two people are at fault – the writer and her editor. The even more appalling fact is most people who read the article didn’t catch it, read right over it. Keep your head up – you do amazing things with your kindest and I do my darndest with my 8th graders. They’ll find there way and be literate and thinkers and empathetic.   3. My brother-in-law is illiterate. Not by choice, but by being in school at a time when dyslexia was viewed as a behavior issue, not a learning difference. I’ll assume this judge has never had the displeasure of witnessing a grown man shrink before his eyes when asked to read simple instructions.
