dance ’round.

Standard

found the fairy woods and troll hollow
tucked away in the middle of the trees

when your eyes are open

there is always so much to discover.

“we dance round in a ring and suppose,

but the secret sits in the middle and knows.”

  1. I searched to see what poem the lines by Frost are from. To my surprise, I found that those two lines are the entire poem.

    I’m reminded of Edwin Markham’s four-line “Outwitted”:

He drew a circle that shut me out —
Heretic, rebel, a thing to flout.
But Love and I had the wit to win:
We drew a circle that took him in!
