Jul10 dance ’round. Posted on July 10, 2018 by beth Standard found the fairy woods and troll hollow tucked away in the middle of the trees when your eyes are open there is always so much to discover. “we dance round in a ring and suppose, but the secret sits in the middle and knows.” -robert frost Share this:FacebookPinterestEmailPrintTwitterLinkedInMoreRedditTumblrLike Loading...
I searched to see what poem the lines by Frost are from. To my surprise, I found that those two lines are the entire poem. I’m reminded of Edwin Markham’s four-line “Outwitted”: He drew a circle that shut me out — Heretic, rebel, a thing to flout. But Love and I had the wit to win: We drew a circle that took him in! You need to visit the Morton Arboreteum (Lisle, IL) and do the troll hunt. There are 6 large trolls hidden in the woods, very fun to find them! LikeLiked by 1 person Reply ↓
Recently I was with a little girl who didn’t know how to make a fairy house. Imagine that! We soon put that right. (No trolls here in New Zealand.) LikeLiked by 1 person Reply ↓
