  3. I rarely shop online, but when I do, American Spoon Foods in Petoskey is a favorite — including their apricot preserves made from fruit from the Leelanau peninsula. I’ve never been to Michigan, but it’s on my short list of places to visit — preferably in fruit season.

    • yes, i hope that you have a chance to visit michigan. all of the wines and liquors that we tasted were created from michigan sources – grapes from the peninsula, in soil left behind from glaciers, as well as pines for the gin, berries, etc.
