It’s always good to consider the possibility of strangers as angels. Strange(r)ly it’s that type of thinking which has helped to make AirBnB successful.

Actually, thinking about it, I would question this piece of ‘wisdom’
I wholeheartedly agree with the admonition to be hospitable to strangers but disagree with the second part
The first part should stand on its own
we should be hospitable to strangers because it is the right thing to do
Our decision whether or not to be hospitable to strangers should not be determined by any thought of self interest, e.g., the possibility that there may be angels amongst the strangers who will judge us by our actions and reward or punish us accordingly

Sir Ernest Macmillan was interested in French Canada’s folklore. He therefore composed a pice of music entitled “Our Lord as a poor man.” There’s a poor man in all of us. I wrote a song entitled “The Beggar'” but the beggar isn’t Christ. He is a of a black slave whose family escaped to Canada during the American Revolution. He came to my door and I would prepare him a meal. Nova Scotia has a native black population.
I’ve never published my own music, but I remember every piece. Take care ksbeth, Micheline

I knew instantly that it was Shakespeare & Company. I first visited there in 2006 and had the honor of having copies of my first poetry collection placed in Poet’s Corner. I have blogged more than one post of this amazing shop.

yes, i’ve been drawn in to reading and writing about this shop before. there is something about it that draws me in. i’d love to visit and spend some quality time there. how wonderful that you have a collection placed within, you much have been thrilled.
