I put on my blue yoga pants this morning that I had been saving for a special occasion… although I’m not sure what a yoga special occasion would be …. LOL 😉
How apropos this was! I was just going through my old china cabinet in the basement today, trying to figure out what to keep and what to give away. I will definitely use some of the good china! Thanks, Beth!
Look for a column titled “if I Had My Life To Live Over” I’m pretty sure that’s he one. I used to keep a copy of it in my wallet until it disintegrated..:)
Erma wrote that column after she was diagnosed with breast cancer the last time. I think it is in her last book. Erma said she would have burned the pretty candle she kept in a closet, saving it for a special occasion 😦
We had friends who took their China to a Taco Bell restaurant to eat their tacos off of! 🙂

🙂 Since I don’t have good china when the family is here we use paper plates so we don’t have to waste time doing dishes! 🙂

So true! I remember one New Year’s Eve, we ate leftover Chinese food on our good China. 🙂

Unfortunately we come to these understandings too late in life. Always loved her writings.
