In some cultures they would say at the 70th birthday, that they are now running 71, when asked their age! So that also works. Have a great day! I do love your poems!

I dunno. 70 is a pretty big milestone. And sometimes hard to admit to. For those cringing, decade-changing years, I think I”d like the number to be exact… But it also signifies a “who cares” spirit that needs to take over at about that point, says the woman who turned 75 this summer.

As one of five kids who were all born within an 8 year span, I think my Mom had pretty much every possible candle digit in the drawer at some point…. and in duplicate.
