when driving with grandie f
he asked me
what a ‘party line’ was.
he said it was mentioned
in an article he was reading
and it advised him to
‘ask a grandma or google’
if he needed an explanation.
I think that was a brilliant suggestion
they understood
that between the two sources
we have most everything covered.

I suppose that’s good advice. I remember having a party line about 45 years ago – boy were you in trouble if you had a “talker” as one of the ‘parties’!!!!!

Grandma was such a great source of information and what did she see in her lifetime…. what will we see and what will be our witness? Great thought to begin my day. Thanks.

oops -beth (I know the ‘k’ in my name is deceiving) . glad you enjoyed a happy slice of life with this ) I love being a grandmother and thought it was hilarious

The best thing is that if she doesn’t immediately know the answer, grandma does know how to ask Google too. This one, though, Beth, we got covered, even though I think we probably only saw party lines on TV shows and never had them in our houses.

You made my morning, not so much for the party line memory, but for the family stuff. Nice and warm.

No one, who is smart, messes with the grandma’s. No one. Not even the grandpa’s.

Fun post, Beth. Now instead of party lines we have Twitter, and everything else. LOL. Oh, and I wouldn’t recommend messing with Prince William’s grandmother either! Ha! Hugs.

Fun, I listened to The Lone Ranger on the radio. You can learn anything from google, but it’s better from and grannie.

I prefer the Grandma touch, but google will do in a pinch.

Yes, we pretty much have that covered. If not, Google does. Of course Grandma’s answer is much more fun. 🙂
