In traveling to the east coast this week, I am touched, over and over again, by the people i see being welcomed by, and welcoming, others who they are connected to in some way. It is a story that never gets old and is never told exactly the same way twice.

Weighty! I love to watch at airports that greet their loved ones who have just landed. Or watch, those that have to be separated for a season.

The last scene in “Love Actually” was shot at an arrivals gate at London’s Heathrow Airport – they were all real people captured by cameras – and then the people were asked for permission to use the footage, so all of the happiness and warmth captured was real, and it’s one of the best film endings ever

Some of my sweetest memories are of my Aunt Jo, Uncle Hank and Aunt Martha waiting for me by the baggage carousel at the airport in Billings, Montana. ā¤
