I grew up in Seattle: 4 seasons if you accept that rain will visit all of them…now I live in LA, and last year we had rain – lots of it…great for the drought, unfortunate for those of us who know how to drive in it, because LA is 75-85 all year long, so no one else had any chance to practice!

The woods are their most beautiful as the leaves fall, the new light exposing what we have missed through the months of green. To a cyclist, such as myself, it means a time to go faster on trails that are no longer blind, yet slow down as the beauty of the woods unfolds.
