Bigfoot revealed when bundt cake sliced!
(and I just love anything to do with Bigfoot)
—
Jenn Fuikawa of justJennrecipes whipped up a Bigfoot Bundt cake that features a figure of the elusive cryptid nestled inside the cake itself. Bigfoot is only revealed when the cake is cut.
The Bigfoot insert was made using a Bigfoot styled after the creature in the famous 1967 Patterson-Grimm film. Once pieces of baked cake are cut with the cookie cutter, they are placed inside the bundt pan and covered in batter before being baked again to create the effect.
Sasquatch. Yeti. Bigfoot. He goes by so many names, yet he’s still an enigma. He could be behind that tree in the woods, or perhaps in the icy mountain of a theme park ride, but most likely you’ll find him… in a bundt cake.

Very interesting. Intentionally made or chance?

I love this! My wife has a tradition: every Monday, one staff member brings a Bundt cake to the weekly meeting…they are encouraged to be creative and tie it into the show…everyone gets excited about it, and at one point during the week, someone is “bundted” with the pan so they know it’s their turn…that is a surprise that catches everyone off-guard as well! Maybe I’ll volunteer and make this for them!

Bella, my Jeep Renegade, has Bigfoot walking on the back window. 🙂 I’m sure that helps sell them.

I made a burnt cake once, but it wasn’t very cool. Fortunately, the smoke alarm wasn’t working, so it didn’t disturb anyone.

I can’t begin to imagine how this was done … unless it’s photoshopped. But then, I haven’t baked a cake in decades.

I guess I need to read the fine print 🙂 I think kids would get a big kick out of such a cake if they didn’t know it was going to be there. Who am I kidding, I’d get a big kick out of it too!

So if we eat the cake, does that mean there is no bigfoot anymore? ;( What a fun thing to make. Some people have the best imagination.
