I love the smell of gingerbread and especially the German version of Lebkuchen. My adult niece made cutout cookies with cinnamon and cloves to hang in the Christmas tree putting a hole for the hanger. My fake tree never smelled better. I would have loved making that as a child. Your students are quite fortunate.
Each seasons scents are part of it’s highlights. I have to say, autumn and winter scents are my favorites.

Aye. This time of year has the best scents. We are dominated year-round by ocean and evergreen, but baking and rich stews add nicely.
