Good luck with that. They do not like their person to leave them. Body language and position is pretty clear cut. Olive is either going with your, or you’re leaving without your suitcase.

We were recently gone for 5 weeks. Mr. Dogboy knew it was coming, but had to trust us. I kept telling him “it’ll be adventure for everyone.” He stayed with different families he knew and was comfortable with. We were all really glad to get home.
