“I made this thank you note. I’m going to give it to my family.”
“what are you thanking them for?”
“I’m going to thank them for being my family.”

“if the only prayer you ever say in your entire life is thank you, it will be enough.”
*Meister Eckhart
*Eckhart von Hochheim (c. 1260 – c. 1328), commonly known as Meister Eckhart, was a German theologian, philosopher, and mystic.

Three things
you’re the best 🙂
I’m cleaning up/out lots of my written stuff (i.e. MY LIFE!) for an intern. removal, reducing our living space from 180sqm to 80… and the last document I read and put away to keep eternally was my then young son’s Thank You note aged about 8…. A bit more coherent than your pic but equally touching in both text and meaning. Mami, you’re my butterfly (and thanks….) Phonetically written with a starry butterfly.
My dad particularly liked Mr Eckhart – always good for a great quote – If E was one of my dad’s poetic heroes, he’s also mine ) – I always thought Eckhart was his family name, I learn something new every day.

Most people never do this even if they live to be 103, this little one thought to do it at age 3.

Thank you are the two most important words in any language. Children seem to know that instinctively. Thank you for this post.
