What a great sport! – for everyone, it is fun. I’m not good at it though, my best was 5.

now that it’s become a huge sport and is televised, time to get back into it! )

It used to be that contest made hardly a ripple, Beth …
I’m glad ESPN has some programming besides yakking about what might happen in the NFL.

A sport I was actually good at in my youth. Alas, it took 60 years for it to go pro, and I’m out of practice now. (Besides, the body English involved would probably throw my back out.)

Only on Mackinac Island:) I love that place and miss everything about the entire area. I most recently lived in Sault Ste. Marie, so it was an easy hour’s drive to St. Ignace and the boats heading over to the Island…

Nice! I love it too and my brother worked there during college every summer as a dock porter)

I read that bowling is making a big comeback on TV as it’s a safe way to have a competition!

Since I am a sports junkie, I’m going through major withdrawals. For me, sports are the best reality show. At the same time, it’s hard for me to watch old sporting events where I already know the result. I also like shows like Jeopardy, so perhaps it’s more about the act of competition.

it sounds like it’s all about the competition, the gamesmanship, and the outcome for you, hard to watch a sport when you know the outcome.

I wish I had read this earlier; I can’t resist trying to skip a stone anytime I see water…

HUH??? Was my first reaction. But then I thought everyone has to have a sport. And right now, basketball, hockey, baseball etc. are out of commission So why not?
