that moment when you’ve worked very hard on something
and suddenly someone
jumps up front and center just as the last piece is put in
and it’s photo op time.
we each have our own thoughts on this.
—
“it is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.”
-harry s. truman (my approach)
“hard work is rewarding. taking credit for other’s hard work is rewarding and faster.”
-scott adams (olive’s approach)
Made me chuckle and think about getting a cat for 61st time this week 😂

I am not sure the cat is trying to take credit. It’s just hungry, I mean, it is a puzzle with a bunch of fish on it! Funny and entertaining post, Beth!

I think this group accomplishment photo is pretty priceless, Beth. Nice job! I think I can figure out who did the heavy lifting and who provided the emotional support.

Olive was excellent at taking one piece at a time and pushing it off the table and onto the floor. We each have our role .)

A dog would’ve just wondered if it were something to eat or pee on, but would’ve loved the fact that you were proud of the accomplishment.

Ha! That was a funny one. I hear cats behave this way a lot but I can’t speak from experience as we don’t have one. But I hear about many of these moments.

everything fits together perfectly here – the photo, the quotes, and yours and Olive’s connection to the quotes – well played!

How wonderful. You’re lucky she let you put the last piece in and didn’t push it on the floor or do it herself and say she finished it. Then, of course, she would nap on the finished puzzle.

she did ‘assist’ throughout by quietly knocking one random piece after another off the edge of the table

Makes it more interesting, crawling around on the floor, to find that piece. 🙂

Are those fish on the puzzle? No wonder the cat is intersted. Cute kitty, by the way. I love black cats.

Scott Adams sounds just like you think a Trump supporter would. I wonder if this means cats are Republicans and dogs are Democrats? I’ll have to think about it… 🙂

I have a feeling the cat thinks you made it just for him/her. Saying a thank you and laying claim. Taking credit for someone else’s hard work is just bad karma. 😉

Yes, that could be it and I will let her know 😻)
