“the important stuff will still be important by the time you get to it. the unimportant will have made its insignificance obvious or simply disappear. then, with stillness rather than needless urgency or exhaustion, you will be able to sit down and give what deserves consideration your full attention.” – Ryan Holiday, Stillness is the Key
Absolutely. Said to HH this morning that I liked this ‘de-speeded’ life. And just yesterday I told my sis that much of my things in the still open boxes w/o a place to put them should just ‘go away’ because I didn’t want my space filled up with stuff. I bet however that come next winter, I’d still like to have them handy…. 😏🤨🤔

it is interesting when you see what you really need and what you don’t over time –

One thing the pandemic has brought about for me is that I gave myself permission to be still. Without being able to travel to a volunteer site or attend a meeting, etc. I have slowed my mind and my body sometimes for minutes at a time!
I loved your post!

Why did it take me so long to learn this? I am grateful, though, that I finally have. Beautiful reminder!
