I was thinking that the egg I have been watching for most of my life, was empty. No one hatched, who wanted to change the cruel and unjust system that is our hateful, prejudiced American sense of JUSTICE. Maybe now, people will start to fight back. I’m not holding my breath, but the light is still shining on the egg, keeping it warm. Meanwhile, I’ll try and keep the flowers from freezing to death.
I was thrilled to find a patch of violets one day on a walk. We’ve had so much rain and cool weather.

How wonderful! If I’m going to sink right in I’d prefer a bed of flowers.

I love the word ‘flower’ and have always wondered why we don’t pronounce it with a long ‘o’.
