  1. Going back and looking at old family photos is always a hilarious trip down fashion’s memory lane. What a fun and funny way to celebrate your father, Beth! And, as always, the perfect quote on the subject!

  3. Oh boy does that picture take me back!!
I have a few of these matte finish photos and have been so upset about them fading. I tried to help your photo out some. I don’t have photoshop, but did my best!! Memories are meant to be saved!!

  4. Ah, the Seventies…I finally got my hair cut to get a job around big machinery to pay for the birth of our daughter. We still have that ponytail. It hangs on my wall with a hawk feather and my medicine bag. Lots of things change; some things don’t.

  5. You are so lucky. You are able to attach photos. My bad luck. My photo which I try to attach is not acceptable to this site. Sorry. Technical rules may not be able to accept my attachment.

  6. Beth, this reminds me of the line from the 70’s song “Pretzel Logic” by Steely Dan, in reference to the style of the times: “I stepped upon the platform, the man gave me the news. He said ‘you must be joking son, where did you get those shoes?'”
