  2. Loved this lovely picture of the family of 70s..I was a teenager in mid 70s ,studying in a small University town tucked in w.bengal, India,set up by the first Asian Noble Laureate Rabindranath Tagore. Had many Foreign students studying..your picture brings loads of memories…

  6. Oh boy does that picture take me back!!
    I have a few of these matte finish photos and have been so upset about them fading. I tried to help your photo out some. I don’t have photoshop, but did my best!! Memories are meant to be saved!!

  12. Ah, the Seventies…I finally got my hair cut to get a job around big machinery to pay for the birth of our daughter. We still have that ponytail. It hangs on my wall with a hawk feather and my medicine bag. Lots of things change; some things don’t.

  17. Beth, this reminds me of the line from the 70’s song “Pretzel Logic” by Steely Dan, in reference to the style of the times: “I stepped upon the platform, the man gave me the news. He said ‘you must be joking son, where did you get those shoes?'”
