love wandering around the town
discovering artists’ work
left in unexpected places
a sudden inspiration
using what they found

“i don’t think there’s anything in this universe as powerful as the power of an artist to create.
by that logic, we are all artists, aren’t we?”

Beauty found in the unexpected tastes just a bit more sweet! Great post, Beth!

An imaginative piece of art Beth… on closer perusal, I’d say it’s a sculpture representing “the Tower of Babylon”…

Where one person sees a pile of old bricks, another sees a sculpture waiting to happen. So creative! I love this!

That’s exactly right, it’s all in how we see the world

What a wonder that is and no one to claim it. I watched all of Sir Ken Robinson about art. I loved going to new little towns and seeing wall and street art. People are so amazing in their creativity.

we do indeed, Beth; life for an artist of any kind, and that includes you and me as writers , never cease to be amazed — to use a cliche — at what we stumble upon 🙂

thank you for calling me a writer, it’s taken me a long while to even ponder the idea that i might really be one

you are a writer, Beth; I love your little jewels of observation and the quotes you assemble to go with them

words and pictures just flow together, i see things connecting in ways that may have not been connected before. collage has always been my thing, even when creating visual art

yes, it is a rare gift, Beth especially to post regularly and maintain the quality: the sweetness and accuracy of observation and sometimes the poignancy for that too is an aspect of life 🙂
