Patience is a wonderful virtue Beth…. I’ve fortunately been able to develop my patience through my life experiences of being a long term carer for my wife Carole…
It’s the waiting and the constant hum of the news as my husband obsessively watches for results. I hide in the laundry room. Everyone fears entering – so I am safe. All I can hear is the hypnotic hum of the dryer!
I keep remembering how I was feeling on Tuesday night when I went to bed more shocked than I was four years ago. I don’t mind waiting a little bit longer.
That quote is an important perspective on what being patient really is. Such a timely post!

Itβs not just the waiting thatβs painful, Beth, but the drip of results I canβt turn away from that are eating away at my spirit.
