It would be so fascinating to see how this one’s self portrait changes from year to year. Right now, there’s no body at all, just a head, a bunch of fingers, with legs and feet, which makes perfect sense.
we have our students for two years, and keep them, making them into a book for parents to keep. they are stunning, a clear record of their development.
Bold and in the style of the great expressionist painters. Keep an eye on this one!

My, so lovely, I remember my kids drawing themselves. So sweet what they noticed about them as special to “mention” in the drawing.

I try to avoid any selfies, self-portraits or anything in that direction. Looking at myself in the mirror is more than enough to bear with! 😉
