    I see where my mind is at. I’ve been playing a lot of Words with Friends on my phone, and I perked up when I saw the “j” from justice.

Interestingly, in a Gallup poll taken last June 23–July 6, after a month of protests, riots, and millions of dollars of destruction, a majority (61%) of black Americans surveyed said they preferred the police to spend about as much time in their neighborhoods as they already were spending. Those who answered differently were about evenly divided between wanting more policing (20%) and wanting less policing (19%). That means 80% of black Americans in the poll wanted either the same amount of policing in their neighborhoods or even more than they already had. Here are the details:
