why fly?

Standard

why oh why does our paper fly?

we’ll try over and over and over again

until we find out why.

  1. I used to love making paper airplanes , and wonder of wonders, they’d sometimes fly:) there was even a very successful featute film made here in Oz some years back called ‘Paper Planes’ directed by Robert Connoly, the director of this year’s ‘The Big Dry’ a moody masterpiece which must be viewed on the BIG screen: I’ve seen it twice 🙂

  3. The learning is in the little things–I wish that wonderment of such simple questions could stay in the minds of young readers once they begin staring at a screen all day. Great job, Beth. 🤍

  4. Isn’t the next step to thinking about how air currents affect paper. It sounds like it’s time to investigate with paper airplanes.
