That is why they refer to it as the “culinary arts”! And it is always the right time for chocolate chip cookies.

it sure is, and perhaps why I fell asleep while blogging this late last night, in a cookie haze, only to wake and find it undone )

I just help grab the ingredients that are high up and take things out of the oven. I am sous chef

Cool. I’ve don’t that too with my older grandson. It is a lovely but exhausting experience.

I have LONG admired people who can cook/bake with instinct. It isn’t something I can do easily. Maybe I should try more. 🙂

Love this, Beth. Four yr old Elijah baked his first cake Sunday. Couldn’t wait to show us and share it!

Kids cooking changes their lives for the better. My four were in the kitchen from infancy through forever. All of them love cooking, are accomplished and prepare most of the meals for their families. The bonus for me is that I now get to eat their grand dishes. Definitely grows creativity. You sound like an super teacher.

it is such a wonderful experience for them for so many reasons, as you know. I’m just the guide, she’s her own teacher
