On my morning walk, I took a picture of a house. It was very dark outside and the lights above the dormer windows looked like raised eyebrows as if to say: What are you doing out at this hour?
I got it! Beth, I am turning the light off on Omnia Caelum Blogs, but will start a new blog “JaZzArT en València”, please look for me, it will be in the coming days…cheers!
Well, I can’t seem to figure out a way, but here’s a link to the bit I wrote about it. . . https://rightasrainonline.com/?p=752 Thanks for setting my thoughts into motion!
I had tons of tree frogs in the mountains outside San Diego, about an inch long. Once (this is true) one had hopped into my blender… I don’t know if you remember that sick joke from back in the day but I didn’t turn the blender on though I DID laugh as I took him outside, “Bad plan, little guy.”
We used to catch them all the time as kids. Sadly, I learned about cold-blooded animals as a little boy when I brought one into the bathtub to take a bath with me.😢
Thank goodness. I thought I was finally really blind. I kept looking for a real frog. I can see what you were seeing but it wasn’t what I was looking for in that photo.
I am missing the reference here, but I do love the wisdom in your quote!

just commenting on what I ran across, these metal works that reminded me of a frog and to never judge what something really is

For me as a kid, catching frogs was a rite of passage. As I recall, we were always kind and let them go.

Yes, it is. I did the same thing the other days work, and, of course, my first instinct was right on the money….
