my staycation agenda:
“take wrong turns. talk to strangers. open unmarked doors.
and if you see a group of people in a field, go find out what they are doing.
do things without always knowing how they will turn out.”
-randall munroe
come to think of it, i’ve done this my whole life

Don’t we realise how wonderful our home. hometown and parks are with our staycations? Often we don’t notice what beauty surrounds us.

Ha, I was just going to say: Hey, then my whole life was and is a staycation….. when you wrote literally the very same thing! How about that!
Now you ‘only’ have to become a dog lover like me and we cd be identical twins (apart from the age difference)

Three more days of school then two and a half weeks to reset for the second semester. For some reason first semester 6th graders are different from second semester 6th graders…. Sort of like the life cycle of a butterfly. Enjoy your time away to do what you want to do. Peace.

I used to be shy all my life. But over the past years, I started talking to strangers when waiting in line, when asking about how they are feeling, or whatever. It is wonderful to just connect with others and show both sides that they (them and I) are seen.

I would guess a staycation is a lot less exhausting than the one I’m on. I’m a bit envious. I love talking to strangers. So many good rules for anytime in life.

I’m at the point that I’ll have to buy speed to catch up to it. 😉 Upside down time was fine when I was younger. It’s teaching me a lesson this time around. 🙂

I’m not sure about the “opening unmarked doors” part. Are we talking metaphorical doors? Or literal doors? Either way, I’m of the opinion that some doors shouldn’t be opened. At least knock first! Hahaha.
