two of the six-pack of grandies finding their balance.
—
“we’ve just learned how to balance ourselves a little better
so that we’re happier way more of the time than not,
and,
you know,
being happy is a radical and desirable act if you ask me.”
-anthony kiedis, red hot chili peppers
Too funny! Don’t be surprised if they run off to join the circus.

I’d travel to see them on the circuit, all vocations are on the table

I don’t know why but I am reminded of the question we are often asked on forms?
On a scale of 1-10 How happy are you? or How balanced are you? How anything are you?
On a scale of 1-10 How much do you enjoy beth’s posts?
I would say 9.9999999.

Yes, in some places of this world being happy is an act of subversion! Good quote from a member of a great band!

My balance is tottering .. oh… to be young and have balance ..
” Balance ”
There is a distant shore
Between why and when
Life is a seesaw
Between hero’s and heroine’s
There is a balance
Between ups and downs
Life is a challenge
Between smiles and frowns
There is a common ground
Between storms and calmness
Life is a humming sound
Between love and kindness

I’m first going to have to grab ahold of the fact that you have 6 grandies and then the fact that at least some of them are this old!!

I think being happy should not be so radical a concept, but it should definitely be a desirable one. And finding balance in life should always be a goal (especially if you’re holding someone else up).

Speaking of being happy, a commenter on my latest post just invented this saying: “Catch a rainbow and catch a glimpse of happiness.”
