That photo is a phenomenal find! And in our area, Mother Nature has been unsure all winter whether to make us wear our down coats or let us wear our flip flops!
Fooling no one in Colorado. Historically, March and April are our heaviest snow months. And the unwritten rule is “don’t plant anything before Mother’s Day.”
Isn’t that the truth, although Minnesota is still decidedly winter. You are prompting me to check out the street signs in Faribault where we also have a Summer Lane, Spring Road, Winter Drive and Autumn Drive in a several block area. Maybe there’s a sign just like this one, except in green.
Winter. Wind blowing hard. Snow heading over the San Juans and I expect this to be the drill until May at which time it will still be a month before we can plant anything outside. Lucky for me, I like winter.
Shakespeare usually nailed it. 🙂
Best wishes, Pete.
