Anyone with the guts to stand up and perform in public always gets my respect. Even if their music is not always to my taste. Ed Sheeran started out as a teenage street busker, let’s not forget that. 🙂
Best wishes, Pete.
Music has the power to lift us up, take us back in time, and is always on stand-by to be a good companion whenever called upon. Great quote used here, Beth.
Those kids are great and so is the man with the xylophone… I read a novel by Bulwer-Lytton. I don’t remember the story at all. I just remember going to the local library (N. Denver) and checking it out. It was old, an olive-green cover, gold letters, and a mildly scandalous story. I just looked it up. It was “Pelham; Or, the Adventures of a Gentleman” I wonder now what it was about??? 😀
Music stains the soul the way a tattoo stains the skin. It resides in permanence. Great post, Beth!

Brad, I don’t like the word STAIN (when speaking of music)….. Music is a balm for my soul. Just saying 🙂

Music is the one place we can all get lost in which needs no words (words are a bonus).

This is one of the things I love about music. It is ageless and limitless but filled with heart.

Both expressed their natural music spirit, each I. Their own way. Wonderful to see. Good memory of the book-

The beauty of music is there is something for everyone, and sometimes people that are 80 years apart can like similar music.

I love the quote… and he’s a relative. Really. Lytton is my maiden name. I’m glad to know he liked music as much as I do.
