and once again
the meaningless disruption
of daylight savings time
many of us
unmoved by it.
“There’s never enough time to do all the nothing you want.”

and with the return of daylight savings time,
this quote is more relevant to me than ever.
i literally just want to know what is the right time?
not sure if it will be night or day when i wake up today
on daylight savings time change day.
on yet another daylight savings time adjustment day
still the same number of hours in a day
no matter what you call them
each one equally valuable
and once again – daylight savings time……
‘I’m the type of person who tries to fall back asleep in the morning just to finish a dream.’

“in the time it takes to say ‘now,’ now is already over.
it’s already ‘then.’ ‘then’ is the opposite of ‘now.’
so saying ‘now’ obliterates its meaning,
turning it into exactly what it isn’t.”
-ruth ozeki, a tale for the time being
my life’s interpretation of the above passage from ruth’s beautiful book :
by the time i get my clocks reset,
the time will change back again to the time it was when i started
like it never happened
until it happens again.
daylight saving time has arrived once again
