After reading all of the posts this past week from you and all the others out there in the eastern part of the continent, I thought I would quietly read your latest post, Beth, hit the “like” button, “sneak” in and make a quick comment wishing you well, and then quickly “sneak” out without telling you what I was fortunate enough to do yesterday. Truly, I hope all of you stay warm and make sure you share some of that nuclear coffee of yours with everybody else around. It does get dangerous when the cold gets that bad …

I read that and thought, why is 2 degrees a big deal? And 25 degrees is scorching hot. Then I remembered that you Americans are trapped in the past and still use imperial measurements. Crazy Americans.

We have been under a winter storm watch, then a winter storm warning, and now back to a winter weather advisory. Like lobbyists in DC, I am convinced the meteorologists are in bed with the groceries and hardware stores. It’s still in the 40’s here. And it’s pouring rain.

I like the label you put often on your coffee! You need to find a financial backer and get your coffee on the market! (Hey, we all need to see more money being made somehow from this blogosphere!)
