They would still be longer though, yes? We could just accept this most recent change and not change it ever again. 🙂
Apparently there is a town in BC right on the time zone line that doesn’t change its time. It just moves the time zone change sign from one end of the town to the other depending on DST. 🙂
I talked about it with someone yesterday and said this year I would change my clocks before I went to bed. Ha. Didn’t happen. Why break a tradition. 😀 😀
I stayed in bed an extra hour in defiance as I chatted with my best friend on the phone 🙂
I do like the longer days though.
I’ve never seen this quote and I absolutely love it, how perfectly apt.
The longer sun is out in the day makes up for the dark in the morning. The Mad Hatter losing a couple of days, that would make me sad, Beth. Too many days I need to stretch out longer and not shorter or miss any of them at all. Loved how you found the exact quotes to make this one smile at me!
Oh and don’t get me started on how I HATE (really HATE!) daylight savings time!!!!! (And how the Princess just loves me reminding her of this every year!!) 🙂
if only i knew
how to get
an extra hour
out of
this hourglass 🙂

It’s still dark at 6:07 a.m., Beth. It feels as if the sun is late.

Yep, 6:35 and still no sun. Sigh. Where oh where has our sun gone?

had a moment of panic there till I checked with google – we don’t put clocks forward an hour in the UK until Sunday March 29.
Phew !

Yes, and we just call the hours by different names in the end. Love the bc concept.

I don’t care what time it is, if I can have a cup a tea and smile over my reading. 🙂

Thank goodness for modern cell phones and televisions. No need to set anything backward or forward, it’s done automatically.

First time ever. Our associate pastor was 20 minutes late because of Daylight Savings Time. He apologized twice. Poor guy. 😉
