So cool that the city does that. Not everyone can afford waterparks. 😀

So many of my favorite childhood memories were in flip flops!
Never really thought about it until now 🙂

childhood memories?
I have to wear safety shoes at work but once I’m home I plod around barefoot or in flip flops, and I’m coming up for 65 next year – a sign I’ve never really grown up ? 😆

In Florida, flip flops are worn for all occasions – weddings, christenings, bar mitzvahs, you name it. If I had a water slide to go to, they would be my go-to shoes. 😉

I like it when there are opportunities for all to enjoy water play. I liked the sweet quote, Beth. I definitely agree!

Too true. Although flip flops are everywhere here now, my childhood holiday memories are all in wellies. Looks great fun.

The house in the picture looks like the one they created for the Disney movie Up! I agree with Mark, sliding pics would be cool. Looks like a ton of fun. Wendy

Ooh, it does! I wasn’t a slider than day, just a wanderer, but loved everyone walking around town with the tubes and flip flops )

I don’t think we have any water parks in the UK, but sliding around on damp plastic sounds quite good fun. Being silly is one of the keys to staying young, or in my case failing to grow up

I wholeheartedly agree! In fact, living in California, sometimes I feel like many of the best memories are made in flip flops!

The picture is a prize, Beth. The city’s idea is a winner. But what I’ll forever remember is your turning of the phrase “flip-flopped family.” Thank you for this summer smile, my friend.
