Evil does not show love and mercy, even to a brother or a sister. Evil has only pain and hate to sow. It is the tolerance and acceptance of evil by the brother or the sister that dooms them and us.
Inspirational and to the point! If I recall the Dalai Lama’s way of putting it: “If you want others to be happy, practice compassion; if you want to be happy, practice compassion.”
Compassion, patience, and kindness…..we can’t always help out those that we “see on the news”, but we can “pay it forward” with simple acts of kindness in our day to day lives…. (Like I know, YOU do, dear Beth, on a regular basis…) ❤
It took me so long to realize that that was the man’s knees and not the back on another man. I was so confused, like, where did the other man’s head go and how is the child fitting in between them? That was like an optical illusion to me until I finally realized the man was sitting! Sheesh.
Beautiful message☺

If we would only pay attention to this lesson. It would have, and would, save thousands of years of grief.

Nothing else matters. That could be holding my Grace. I’d hope he’d have compassion on me if he came across us two.
