it’s already ‘then.’ ‘then’ is the opposite of ‘now.’

my life’s interpretation of the above passage from ruth’s beautiful book :

by the time i get my clocks reset,

the time will change back again to the time it was when i started

like it never happened

until it happens again.

 daylight saving time has arrived once again

  1. The entire west coast is contemplating no more time changes. Hawaii’s already there. Most of Arizona, too. There are bills moving through legislatures in CA, OR, and WA. I think we’ll see it happen fairly soon.
