‘Michigan’s weather has best weekend day in six months coming’

(today’s headline- here’s hoping it hits a sweaty 60!)

“alike and ever alike, we are on all continents in the need of love,

food, clothing, work, speech, worship,

sleep, games, dancing, fun.

from tropics to arctics humanity live with these needs

so alike, so inexorably alike.”

  1. I really don’t know (honestly, I live on the continent between F & CH) just HOW ironic this is…. While I was sending out snaps of my peonies to my WhatsApp friends and family, I got ‘snowed under’ with their shots and complaints about the meteo in Switzerland…. here spring, there return to winter within one hour of the last photo taken and sent to me!

  2. It’s all in the perspective! I laughed last week when the radio dj’s kept gushing, “it’s going to hit FIFTY degrees tomorrow” as if it was the most wonderful thing in the world. Wellll, after this winter, it was! 🙂

  3. while I’m dreading summer coming! Last week we had to turn AC on, a couple days of high 90’s. But we got a break with a cold front blowing over! Talk about gratitude haha…Summer is when it’s rough here; it’s now your turn for the best time of year ♡ Enjoy.
